Ducati always offers something more in their every motorcycle by adding some performance-based Accessories and by adding some electronic package in their motorcycles but this they have done something unique and different than just conventional upgrades. The Panigale V4R is the perfect example of that, which can rev up to the 16,500 rpm on sixth gear, which doesn’t sound like a good thing for a road-legal motorcycle, but the V4R is designed in a way that it can be used for both racing & public roads without any problem when it comes to street bike norms. The Panigale V4R is a road-legal Ducati race bike.

The price of Panigale V4R is 20K more than the standard version of Panigale V4, which makes this bike different from the standard version. First, the displacement of the engine is reduced by 105CC to meet the WSBK championship rules. There are also lightweight components that are used to increase the RPM limit by 2000RPM. There is a forged steel camshaft which is 1100 grams lighter, another change is the molded aluminum pistons with single compression ring &  titanium piston rods. Ducati has offered the tech which is used by Ducati in MotoGP and SBK, on the other hand, there are also wings which offers 30Kg plus @270Km/h which helps in improving stability at high speeds and cornering, these wings are also responsible for keeping the front wheel on the ground with proper traction on the front end.

In the electronic section, Ducati has loaded all the new generation features with 6D IMU – Inertial Measurement Unit. All the electronics are tweaked according to the MotoGP-derived algorithm. There are Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires for both front and rear. Another unique feature is  Pit Limiter which limits the speed of motorcycle in a particular range which is already pre-set on the motorcycle.
