2019 BMW S 1000 XR

BMW S1000XR design looks inspired by its elder brother BMW S1000RR. When we look at the front dual headlamp it looks like a blueprint from S 1000RR. Coming at the center the body panels are short & adjusted for a semi-adventure motorcycle. There is a huge radiator that fits with the overall design and their lot of room for air intake which ensures better cooling for a 1000cc 4 cylinder motorcycle.

Looking from the rear it looks like proper adventure bike with a good amount of ground clearance but the underbelly exhaust can create some problem while off-roading with this motorcycle. The power figures are much more better than 1250 GS with better top speed and quick acceleration figures because of lightweight construction.

There is some disappointment in torque figures, in 1250 GS there is a lot of initial torque with a thrust power delivery, but it lacks on highway ride ability with top Speed.

This motorcycle is a combination of performance and practical riding conditions in our day to day life. No dought this bike is capable of handling off-roading conditions but there is an advantage of more sporty performance with better handling than GS series motorcycles.
