After launch, it was a big hit in the market & motorcycle enthusiasts because of its In-line four powerful motor with 199 HP of power which was enough for that time as S1000 RR was the most powerful motorcycle on Dyno in its class. As the acceleration figures of BMW S 1000 RR was better than any other motorcycle in the market with the stock component.
